Role Summary
Did you know you can use your experience installing and maintaining industrial machinery to spread the Gospel? Join our team on the pacific island of Guam overseeing our transmitter site in upkeep and development at facilities which include a transmitter hall, shop, buildings, towers, and antennas on 20-acre grounds. Every day people will hear the good news of Jesus over the radio because of your work!
Please note: This position is a supported/sponsored missionary role (not a direct hire opportunity), so you would develop a team of partners who provide financially for your full salary and benefits as a part of this role. We do provide training, resources, and coaching to help missionaries reach these financial support goals!

- Commitment to Jesus Christ evidenced by a personal relationship

- Strong people skills; ability to develop and lead teams effectively
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow with attention to detail
- Cultural sensitivity and a team spirit
- Ability to work in hot, humid conditions and comfortable with heights
Responsibilities:
- Work with contractors and consultants regarding site and building maintenance
- Be familiar with all contracts pertaining to maintenance; monitor records to ensure government standards are met
- Correct problems with all mechanical systems, plumbing systems, fire and security alarm systems and custodial equipment
- Participate in routine inspections and maintenance on towers and antenna systems
- Assess operational status of antennas and grounds during emergencies
- Climb towers up to 250' feet in height to perform all normal rigging duties
- Develop long-range plans and department policies; assist in budgets preparation for supplies and building repair needs
Desirable Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of a wide variety of commercial/industrial-quality building systems (power distribution, HVAC, structural, alarms and elevators, grounds), or be able to develop said competencies
- Familiar with safety policies and procedures applicable to commercial/industrial settings
- Working knowledge of project management
- Capable of using variety of computer-based systems
- Willing and able to be on call 24/7 for emergency response
- Proficient in spoken and written English
