Role Summary
Bring your IT skills to the mission field!  Consider joining our team to make God famous around the world using modern technology to carry out media ministry.  If you can oversee office networks, software, and hardware in our TWR-Europe offices, provide training to staff serving in the region, and ensure TWR Europe's IT systems operate in a secure and stable manner, then we'd like to talk with you!

Please note: This position is a supported/sponsored missionary role (not a direct hire opportunity), so you would develop a team of partners who provide financially for your full salary and benefits as a part of this role. We do provide training, resources, and coaching to help missionaries reach these financial support goals!

IT Systems Administrator: Slovakia, Netherlands, or Cyprus

Support TWR’s Regional IT Systems team in providing office networks, software and hardware, and in training staff serving in the TWR Europe, Central Asia, Middle East and North Africa offices.

Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain all computer systems and applications
  • Provide day-to-day operation of computer system network, hardware and software with minimum interruptions in service
  • Interface with staff to resolve day-to-day computer problems
  • Organize staff training on use of computer systems and applications
  • Perform backup of applications and systems on a regular basis
  • Develop and maintain emergency and disaster recovery procedures and respond immediately in an emergency to limit damage and restore service

Desirable Qualifications:
  • Basic studies in computer networking and technology
  • Proficient experience of professional MS products
  • Experience in troubleshooting end user computer issues
  • Ability and willingness to travel occasionally
  • Speak, read, write, and comprehend English fluently
