IT Assistant
Role Summary
Have you been feeling God's call to participate more closely in the spread of the Gospel throughout the world?  Do you have a technical degree in computer support or equivalent experience?  Are you able to manage office networks, software, and hardware, in order to support our staff IT needs? We need your gifts here at TWR to provide computer support for our regional staff!  You would enable TWR personnel to communicate with each other, send programs from production studios to broadcast outlets, and a myriad of other details that happen each day through our worldwide computer network, functioning as an integral part of bringing hope to the world using mass media.

Please note: This position is a supported/sponsored missionary role (not a direct hire opportunity), so you would develop a team of partners who provide financially for your full salary and benefits as a part of this role. We do provide training, resources, and coaching to help missionaries reach these financial support goals!

IT Assistant Role Summary: Slovakia, Netherlands, or Cyprus

Serve as part of the TWR global IT team with a focus on systems in TWR Europe, Central Asia, Middle East and North Africa by managing office networks, software and hardware, and supporting staff in their IT needs.

  • Install and maintain all computer systems and applications
  • Provide day-to-day operation of computer system network, hardware and software with minimum interruptions in service
  • Organize training of personnel on use of computer systems and applications
  • Purchase and manage new hardware and software (internal communication/procedures, warranties, etc.)
  • Manage software licenses and internal IT documentation

Desirable Qualifications:
  • Basic knowledge of computer networking and technology or equivalent experience
  • Proficient experience with professional MS products
  • Experience in troubleshooting end user computer issues
  • Ability and willingness to travel occasionally
  • Speak, read, write, and comprehend English fluently
