Radio Broadcast Intern (TWR Kenya)

Give your radio broadcast skills to the gospel as you assist the TWR Kenya team in various tasks related to their flourishing broadcast ministry! Brainstorm program ideas, develop content, write scripts, engage with listeners and see how your skills can help the Lord touch hearts in Kenya.

All TWR interns develop a team of partners from churches, friends, and family who support you in prayer and provide financially for your stipend and expenses. We do provide training, resources, and coaching to assist you in this process!
Radio Broadcast Intern: TWR Kenya
Responsibilities:
- generating and researching ideas for programs for both Sifa and TWR Kenya
- developing content, writing material for scripts
- selecting music appropriate to the program and the audienceundertaking editing, interviewing, voice overs and reporting duties as necessary
- presenting programs or segments of programs for both pre-recorded and live output where necessary
- converting text, graphics, video and audio files into other formats
- responding to audience feedback, referring on to other departments as necessary
- producing and making use of user-generated content
- using technology, such as Cool Edit Pro, Pro Tools and Adobe Audition, for editing and production purposes
- quality check of programs submitted
- keeping a record of program leads
- help create and maintain an archive for all TWR programs
Essential Skills:
- Bachelors’ degree in mass media or its equivalent
- Knowledge and skill in editing of audio
- Communication skills and ability to learn new software quickly
- Administration and organization skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft, outlook and excel
- At least one-year related experience
