Hope and Help for Southern Africa

COVID-19 has escalated the need in eastern and southern Africa for education about the virus and encouragement in the struggle to overcome several major health crises.
As COVID-19 puts a strain on inadequate health facilities and supplies, it is likely that other existing diseases, such as HIV infection and cholera, will go untreated, and these diseases can be fatal.
In addition, the October-through-March rainy season has caused severe flooding in Mozambique and Zimbabwe the last two years, putting a further strain on government resources.
TWR would like to provide support and biblical comfort through a series of 52 programs based on material provided by World Vision International in the English, Portuguese, French, Zulu and Swahili languages.
TWR plans to distribute the programs via radio, media players and digital memory cards so listeners learn more about COVID-19 prevention while also being challenged to put their hope in Jesus Christ.
