Mission 66 brings the Bible to life each day as our hosts take you on a journey from Genesis to Revelation. You’ll understand God’s Word in a fresh way and grow in your intimacy with the Lord. In this chapter-by-chapter audio commentary, John Mathews and Esther Sisulu come alongside you to open the Scriptures in a personal and applicable way. They adapt the teaching of Brazilian Bible teacher Dr. Luiz Sayão, who originally taught the content in Portuguese. Mission 66 is a partnership between Dr. Sayão and TWR (Trans World Radio). It is heard in several languages, hosted by TWR international teaching teams.

John-Paul Davies is the voice of our teacher, John Mathews, opening up God’s Word in a practical and understandable way. His heart for the gospel was fueled by his upbringing in a Christian home, primarily in the UK.
“My father was a passionate preacher,” he says. “He had churches in Wales, England, New Zealand and Australia, and it was under his ministry and the gentle guidance of my mother that I became a Christian at the age of 9.” He says that the one who inspires him most in his life is Jesus Christ. “There is absolutely no one like him. His love, forgiveness, patience, kindness and awe are beyond comparison. I can’t wait to see him face-to-face.”
John and his wife have four sons and live in Wales.

Unathi Sithole is the voice of Esther Sisulu, our co-host. She has served with TWR since 2016. Her love for God and His Word is evident by her deep walk with the Lord and the way she expresses her faith. Listeners are drawn in by her transparency and relatability.
“I have been personally changed, challenged, convicted, and comforted,” she says. “Going through the whole Bible a chapter at a time allows for our listeners to drink in and understand God’s word deeper.”
She lives in South Africa and also hosts other daily radio programs with TWR that are heard throughout Africa. “It is such a blessing for me to be a part of Mission 66, a program that changes the hearts and lives of people who hear the truth and experience the power of God’s Word.”
