1 & 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah & Esther
This guide follows God’s people from the genealogies that reminded the Jews of their covenant after Babylonian captivity to their return and renewal.
The Mission 66 Study Guide for 1 & 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, and Esther follows God’s people from the genealogies that reminded the Jews of their covenant after Babylonian captivity to their return and renewal. You’ll see David bring the Ark to Jerusalem and prepare for the temple, Solomon ask for wisdom and build it, and the kings of Judah rise and fall, from Hezekiah’s revival to Josiah’s rediscovery of the Law and the exile that followed. You’ll then watch Cyrus send the exiles home, Zerubbabel and Ezra lead them in rebuilding and renewal, and Nehemiah complete Jerusalem’s wall in 52 days despite fierce opposition. The guide closes with Esther, a young Jewish queen in Persia who risks her life to save her people.
