Revelation
From the letters to the churches to the new heaven and new earth, find hope in Christ’s coming victory.
This Mission 66 Study Guide for Revelation walks through the final book of the Bible, which the guide describes as a message of hope for believers facing persecution. You’ll start with John’s vision on the island of Patmos and the letters to the seven churches, with their calls to keep your first love for Jesus and never be lukewarm. Then you’ll see the throne room of heaven and the Lamb who is worthy, followed by the seal, trumpet, and bowl judgments, the Dragon, the Beast, and the Mark of the Beast, and the fall of Babylon. The guide closes with Christ’s victory, the final judgment, the new heaven and new earth, and Jesus’ promise of his soon return.
Each of the 17 lessons pairs with the Mission 66 audio commentary hosted by John Mathews and Esther Sisulu, and includes a summary, questions, a reflection question, and an application question. Themes of faithfulness, perseverance, God’s justice and mercy, and the hope of eternal life with God run throughout, and an answer key at the back is included.
