Annabel Muscarella

When I was 17, a group of American missionaries came to my neighborhood in Venezuela to build a church and share the gospel. Their stories and testimonies intrigued my brother and me and several friends. On the final day, the youth pastor explained sin and asked, “If you died today would you go to Heaven?” For the first time, I understood that I too was a sinner and asked Jesus to be my Savior! Desiring others to also have access to this gift, I dedicated my life to serving God. Studying finance, marketing, journalism, and biblical studies was part of God’s “prep school” for this new calling.

Accounting skills opened the first door for me to serve with TWR—at TWR Venezuela for 18 years (the last ten as Director), then with the US Hispanic Ministry Team, followed by a stint as Ministry Director for Latin America and the Caribbean. Since early 2022, I’ve been serving as that region’s International Director—overseeing and motivating our national partner ministries, directing content strategy, and bolstering local fundraising initiatives.

Ten years ago, I married David and gained two stepsons; we live north of Chicago, where I enjoy gardening, reading, crafts, and exercising.

The 600+ million people without Christ in Latin America & the Caribbean motivate me to seek a team of partners who will regularly pray and give toward my ministry with TWR!
