Role Summary

Are you studying audio production (or something related) and desire to use your skills for the sake of Christ’s kingdom? Join the Global Content Team in Cary, NC to work with an international team to record, edit and produce media content for global distribution. A working knowledge of audio production software is needed (i.e. Adobe Audition, Audacity, etc.). Note: This is a general job description and is subject to change depending on department needs/projects.

Audio Production Intern: Cary, NC (USA)

Purpose of the Role:

  • To create, write, produce as needed various media projects for the Global Content department
  • To be involved in the development of new projects such as podcasts and audio productions as requested by the Global Content team.

Duties / Responsibilities: 

  • Produce Media Projects
    • Assist as needed with production tasks as they arise
    • Collaborate with other producers as needed to procure necessary production elements including sound effects, music and other needed elements for the project
    • Produce audio content as directed by the Media Content Creation Team Leader utilizing current digital audio software.
  • Create New Content as Needed
    • Work individually or as part of team in creating content for new projects
    • Work closely with other team members  in re-purposing existing content
    • Meet collaboratively to ensure programming goals are defined and achieved by set deadlines
    • Work independently to incorporate all ideas into finished media products
  • Write/Edit Media Content for Projects
      • Using guidelines provided by TWR or the client, write and submit for approval completed media product within the assigned deadline
      • Receive critique and suggestions for modification of content and revise accordingly for final content approval

Experience Requirements:

  • 1-2 years experience with digital audio software required
  • Training in Bible preferred
  • Ability to collaboratively work in an ethnically diverse team environment.

Working Conditions: 

  • Travel is not expected with this role
  • It is expected most work associated with this position will be performed in an office/studio environment. Some aspects of the job though can be performed in a home office situation at the approval of the team leader

Qualifications and Core Competencies required:

  • Knowledge of Adobe Audition and/or Adobe Premiere
  • Experience in multi-track production
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office products
  • Experience in use of various audio hardware such as mixers, microphones and other hardware used in the production of media projects
  • Social media proficiency
  • Must be a self-starter
  • Experienced in audio production
  • Ability to work under the pressure of meeting deadlines
  • Displays spiritual discernment and maturity
