Media Content Administrator

As Media Content Administrator, you will ensure the accurate, timely distribution of programs, communicating and coordinating with other departments and partner organizations to bring the gospel to the nations. Our Media Content Department in Europe is seeking a candidate who can effectively manage the distribution of programs by collaborating with various departments and partner organizations to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Responsibilities include:
The position will be considered successfully carried out when the following key results areas have been satisfied.
- Key Result Area: Operator Duty Sheet.
- Expected outcomes:
- The duty sheet has been properly gone through and the tasks have been completed.
- The duty sheet has been initialized.
- Key Result Area: Playout Operations.
- Expected outcomes:
- The schedule was followed and filled in carefully, verifying that the right programs were distributed at the correct time while going out on the correct channel(s).
- Problems and system changes were recorded in the operator’s log.
- Problems were dealt with properly and in a timely manner.
- Incident reports were fully entered and completed.
- The operator was present on return stream, in time of broadcasting whenever the broadcast went live and monitored if the programs are properly being distributed.
- Key Result Area: Scheduling.
- Expected outcomes:
- Problems and system changes were recorded in the operator’s log.
- All necessary programs were correctly entered into Win-Media Schedule PC.
- Scheduling was completed for fill-ins and repeats for missing programs in cooperation with BOS Schedule.
- Checked daily playout lists with BOS Schedule.
- Copied late-arriving programs and transferred them onto the remote-sties.
- Checked and fixed flagged programs as soon as possible or delegated to someone else.
- Producers were informed if programs were late-arriving or had other problems preventing distribution.
- Key Result Area: Training.
- Expected outcomes:
- The operator sought to make wise use of his time on shift, giving priority to increasing his understanding of work related areas.
- The operator took time to understand procedures required for proper operation.
- Key Result Area: Miscellaneous.
- Expected outcomes:
- Administrators are expected to know how to recognize and handle various equipment failures and problems.
- Administrators are responsible to know and follow the policies and operations procedures manual.
- Administrators are responsible to know and be ready to follow the crisis management plan if needed.
- Administrators are responsible to read the Global Policies and Procedures of TWR each year they are employed with TWR.
- Administrators are part of a team, and are expected to cooperate with fellow administrators.
The operator assisted, only secondarily to running the control room, to do various distribution related responsibilities and tasks, or services for TWR-CE as requested.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Knowledge of written and oral English
- Organizational and administration skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience in radio/media production and distribution
- Knowledge of other languages is helpful
- Basic word-processing and spreadsheet capabilities
- Audio and electrical technical skills advantageous
- Database understanding
