Join me in equipping men to raise up generations of everyday disciplemakers to bring Christ's salvation to the ends of the earth. 

David’s passion for discipleship began soon after he trusted Christ as a freshman at the Naval Academy in 1982. The young man who led David to Christ taught him how to read his Bible, pray, and memorize Scripture. Navigator staff there and other Navy bases discipled David.

In 2003, his interest in discipleship was re-awakened at a men’s retreat. When David invited a friend into a discipling relationship, he said, “Will you help me? I’ve been told to read my Bible and pray, but I don’t know how.” Since then, David has been discipling men one-on-one and in groups of four to seven.

In 2014, David was introduced to Every Man a Warrior (EMAW). Over and over, the power of God’s Word, the EMAW process, and the encouragement & accountability found in a micro-group has dramatically changed men’s lives and lead to spiritual multiplication.

In 2019, Lonnie Berger invited David to join his national leadership team. In May 2021, he stepped away from his career in truck leasing to come on EMAW staff full-time.

David and his wife, Carolyn, live in Reading, Pennsylvania and have been married for 34 years. David has two adult daughters, Hannah and Kayla.
