After a 40-year newspaper career, John now is telling the good news of what God is doing in the world by using his writing and editing skills for TWR. A native of Iowa and a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism, John has traveled to Slovakia, the Faroe Islands, Burundi, Kenya and Malawi on assignment during his first three years with TWR. His home base is TWR U.S. offices in Cary, North Carolina. He is passionate about telling the stories of people whose lives have been transformed through TWR media in 190 countries and in more than 200 languages.
John enjoys hiking, a brisk cuppa tea, classical music and engrossing books. He serves with the TWR Marketing and Communications team.
