New FM Radio Stations for Honduras

Some of the world’s most violent cities are in Latin America, and San Pedro Sula, Honduras, has become a stronghold of gang activity and organized crime. TWR’s Honduran national partner, HRVC, also known as The Evangelical Voice of Honduras, has been broadcasting on an AM transmitter but now has the opportunity to acquire three FM station licenses that will cover not only all of San Pedro Sula but also a 20-mile radius of surrounding cities that comprise a potential listening audience of 2 million people.
Each year, HRVC receives more 200,000 phone calls from listeners who want to accept Christ, share a prayer request, ask for advice, or request more songs and Bible teaching. Local churches would love to have more support through these stations that will lead people to Christ and offer discipleship in God’s Word. Completing this project will mean three new FM licenses, transmitters and repeaters, and all the required equipment. They are raising most of the funds locally, and your gift will help us support them and bring about urgently needed, expanded ministry in Honduras.
