Role Summary

Are you a skilled IT manager who can oversee operations and manage IT projects? TWR needs IT professionals to help implement and support systems that keep TWR’s worldwide mass media reach on-the-air and streaming. IT Manager: Cary, North Carolina (USA), Americas, Africa, Asia, Europe

Work with TWR ministry project sponsors, key stakeholders, and staff, facilitating communication and assisting the IT/IS team in planning and tracking projects.

Core Competencies:

Proven experience working as an IT Manager or in a similar leadership role.
Strong technical knowledge of information systems, network infrastructure, software development, and IT security.
Proficient in managing various operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.), databases, and cloud platforms.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing IT team.
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Experience in budgeting, resource allocation, and vendor management.
Able to manage multiple priorities

Effective interpersonal and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

Support TWR’s IT strategy to align with TWR’s vision and goals as determined by the Director of IT.
Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of the organization's technology infrastructure.
Manage and lead team of IT professionals, providing guidance, mentoring, and evaluations.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including system administration, network management, help desk support, and security.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand technology requirements and develop solutions to meet business needs.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies, software, and hardware upgrades to enhance system performance, efficiency, and security.
Establish and enforce IT security protocols, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and systems.
Develop and manage the IT budget, monitoring expenses and ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.
Coordinate with external vendors, consultants, and contractors to procure necessary IT products and services.
Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement within the organization.
Conduct regular system audits, risk assessments, and disaster recovery planning to maintain business continuity.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
CISSP, PMP, or ITIL certification(s)
