Volunteer Finance Help Desk Support: Cary, North Carolina (USA) or remote

Our Finance team is seeking a volunteer to help support and respond to finance-related help tickets. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and respond to finance-related help desk tickets in a timely and professional manner.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to D365 Business Central, including journal entries, account reconciliation, reporting, and system navigation.
  • Collaborate with finance team members across global locations to understand and address their concerns.
  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate internal teams or external support when necessary.
  • Document solutions and contribute to a knowledge base for future reference.
  • Assist in identifying recurring issues and recommending process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with D365 Business Central, particularly in a non-profit finance or accounting context.
  • Strong understanding of finance principles and processes.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a global team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Previous help desk or support experience is a plus.
