Nathan Aguirre

Christ and technology have long been my two greatest passions. After more than twenty years working in IT and walking steadily in my faith, God brought those two together in an unexpected and beautiful way through my work with TWR.

In March 2022, I joined TWR at KTWR Guam as a Network and Playout Administrator. Much of my work focused on the practical, behind-the-scenes backbone of broadcast ministry: maintaining local IT infrastructure, supporting engineering needs, and managing the station’s playout system that helped keep programs flowing to listeners across Asia.

In March 2025, I stepped into leadership as Interim Station Director. Shortly after, TWR’s Global Leadership Team and Board made the difficult decision to close the KTWR site. With that, my role shifted to leading the decommissioning project and helping bring nearly 50 years of broadcasting from Guam to a close.  While TWR’s outreach to Northeast and Southeast Asia continues through other outlets, I have the privilege of stewarding this final chapter with care, gratitude, and faith.

As this chapter concludes, I am preparing to transition into my next role as a TWR missionary serving with the Global IT team. In this position, I will help plan, implement, and support the systems that enable secure ministry operations worldwide — including cloud and server platforms, security architecture, networking, endpoint management, and the tools that support TWR’s media workflows. My desire is simply to serve faithfully, using the skills God has given me to support those who proclaim the gospel in more than 200 languages around the world.

TWR’s Director of Information Technology & Systems, Ben Lykins, says, “Reaching the whole world with the gospel by mass media requires TWR to use a lot of technology. Nate’s broad technology background and skills, combined with his love for people and the gospel, make him a perfect fit to help TWR integrate the latest technologies to reach more people with the gospel of Jesus. Nate has already earned the respect of our global technology team, and I cannot think of anyone more equipped than Nate for this position.”

Andrea, Ella, and I have been deeply blessed to be part of the TWR community here on Guam. As we step into this new season, I am building a team of prayer and financial partners who will join us in this ministry. I would be grateful for your prayers — for wisdom, peace, endurance, and continued joy in following God’s call — and for your consideration in partnering with us as the Lord leads.

It is humbling to see how God weaves together the details of our lives for His purposes. I am grateful simply to serve where He sends.
