New Distribution Platform Spreads Hope to the Arab World
Two Christian media organizations have combined strengths to make the hope found in Jesus more readily available in the Arab-speaking world.
TWR, also known as Trans World Radio, began broadcasting its Arabic programs on Feb. 7, 2022, on a satellite audio channel. This is done in close partnership with SAT-7, who made one of their audio channels available to TWR, with their mutual vision to reach more Arab people with the message of hope. This new initiative serves as a powerful content distribution platform especially in the more remote parts of the regions of the Middle East and North Africa, where internet and other infrastructure are minimal or unavailable. One satellite covers North Africa, Middle East and the Gulf region (Eutelsat). With this massive coverage, we can have a potential audience of around 347 million people.
Through this satellite audio channel, people outside our normal radio coverage, and those without access to internet, now have a better chance to listen to rich Christian audio content 24 hours a day.
A marketing strategy will be devised and implemented to make the audience aware of this new platform, so they can make the best use of it. Join us in prayers so this new ministry opportunity will have an impact on peoples’ lives and will result in lasting fruit for the kingdom of God.
