As far back as I can remember, I've had a passion for radio! I remember my first clock radio in my bedroom where I listened to Christian music. For my fifth-grade science project my uncle gave me a bag of parts and a schematic and (with a little help from him) I built an AM radio. I got my first radio job soon after college and have worked in the industry in many roles for the last 25 years.
In mid-2025 God put it on my heart to use my skills and knowledge to help spread the gospel. Through a friend at church, I had heard about Trans World Radio and reached out to see how I might be of use to their ministry.
My wife and I discussed and prayed about how this would impact our family of seven children. We see God opening doors for moving into ministry and we are trusting him to provide the resources.
A year ago, I was working late at night in a tiny shack, in the middle of a big transmitter field, replacing a burned-out component, and had a moment when it struck me: "This is what I was made to be doing."
I'm looking forward to joining the Global Content Team and creating programming that shares the hope and love of Christ with vast audiences around the globe — for his glory.
