Work closely with our TWR Kenya Technical Manager to repair and manage technical operation of our broadcast station and gain incredible hands-on experience of missions in eastern Africa!

Radio Engineer Intern: TWR Kenya
Work closely with the Technical Manager
Responsibilities:
- Assist technical manager in the overall technical operation of the stations, and in ensuring that all malfunctioning equipment is inspected and repaired in a timely manner
- Management of the broadcast equipment (studio and transmitter facilities where possible)
- Assist in ensuring compliance with the Kenyan Communication Authority rules and regulation on equipment and broadcast
- Monitoring signal and broadcast quality from the station in Nairobi and those live streaming and proposing solutions to better sound quality
- Assist in giving ideas on how to better our online radio and other audio platforms
- Help in Maintaining an asset register of broadcast equipment where possible
Essential Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree and some professional experience
