Role Summary

Work alongside the Program Manager, Social Media Coordinator and the rest of the TWR Kenya team to promote ministry, create content and develop strategies to communicate the Lord's work in this beloved country!

All TWR interns develop a team of partners from churches, friends, and family who support you in prayer and provide financially for your stipend and expenses. We do provide training, resources, and coaching to assist you in this process!

Social Media Intern: TWR Kenya

Work with the Program Manager and Social Media Coordinator.

  • Assist with the design and execution of social media campaignsCreate weekly and monthly editorial calendars to promote company brands on various social media websites
  • Create and distribute content such as blogs, infographics, videos and press releases on social media and traditional news outlets
  • Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability
  • Perform social media marketing research
  • Assist on influencer campaign strategy
  • Respond to comments and DMs on social media platforms from friends and listeners of TWR and Sifa
  • Brainstorm and research ideas for original content
  • Create compelling graphics to share across social channels
  • Write social media captions that speak to TWR Kenya target audience
  • Help create and edit short-form videos
  • Develop new strategies for increasing engagement
  • Assist with photo/video content shoots
  • Ensure brand message is consistent
  • Train co-workers to use social media in a cohesive and beneficial way

Essentials Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent.
  • At least one-year related experience.
  • Solid administrative and communication skills.
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video).
  • Expertise in multiple social media platforms.
