Hope for Southern Europe
TWR’s Southern Europe region comprises six countries: France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, and Cyprus. The decline of Christianity in Southern Europe makes it a critical mission field. TWR’s leader in Portugal aptly said, “In Southern Europe, one church is planted, and two others close their doors.”
Many explore spirituality through the thriving occult. We would like to urgently engage with people in the region, especially young people born into a post-Christian society who are searching for meaning in their lives. Christian believers make up only about 3% of the total population.
Southern Europe is diverse in history, languages, and people groups, and we hope to create evangelistic content through a multichannel strategy, utilizing FM, digital radio, and social media channels to reach audiences based on their locations and preferences.
