Since the beginning of the Syrian conflict in 2011, many people have been displaced after losing their homes. Many live in extreme poverty. Still others have lost family members in the war and struggle to see a way out of despair. Now, Syria is reeling from one of the deadliest earthquake disasters in modern history. Where is hope amid the chaos?

Hope for Syria is a daily radio broadcast in the Syrian Arabic language, produced by TWR in partnership with other dedicated media partners. Through encouraging topics, devotionals and interactive discussions, Hope for Syria is a light to those searching for answers. Prayer, Bible readings and counseling are offered on the air. The program gives the local church a voice to spread the gospel.

Since the recent earthquakes, each 15-minute episode of Hope for Syria has been modified to reflect the current situation. Each Hope for Syria episode addresses three areas: the psychological effects of trauma, fear, anger or uncertainty; medical concerns; and spiritual encouragement for the listeners.
