Hidden Treasures, Hope Revealed: How Missions Is Healing Trafficked Women Around the World

There is a great sense of excitement and anticipation in the TWR ministry Women of Hope. After many months and even years of planning and preparation for the recording of Hidden Treasures Season 2, and after overcoming considerable obstacles and setbacks, this brand-new series of audio dramas is being launched at the end of October 2025.

Both Season 1 and Season 2 of Hidden Treasures have the goal of bringing healing, hope and new identity in Jesus Christ to women who have experienced sexual exploitation and trafficking. Inspired by real-life events, each episode is an audio drama that harnesses the power of storytelling, sharing the transformative message of God’s love and purpose and thereby offering a path toward inner freedom.

Season 1 introduces listeners to a loving God through the eyes of women who are still searching — those who have not yet encountered Jesus. With gentleness and compassion, the stories invite them to consider a new beginning. This first series is available in 11 languages.

Season 2 shifts perspective, featuring women who have found hope in Christ. They reflect on their past, briefly share their testimonies, and point to the new life they now embrace. A newly introduced feature is custom-written songs for each episode, which enrich each narrative, adding emotional depth and spiritual resonance.

Each of the 10 episodes of Season 2 tells a different story, with a different character and voice in each one. There is also a relevant Bible verse at the end of every episode, along with unique music to accompany the story. One episode is about five minutes in length, on average. Season 2 will initially be available in English, but more languages will be added in due course.

Audio drama doesn’t just inform — it connects. It speaks to the soul. For women who have endured trauma, this format offers a safe and intimate way to engage with truth. It creates space for healing, restoration, and renewed identity in Christ.
