Zavier Waggoner
Zavier is following the Lord's leading and using his skills in mechanical engineering to serve the people of West Africa.
While originally from Ohio, Zavier has spent the last 4.5 years studying Mechanical Engineering at Harding University in Arkansas. During his life, he has felt God leading him to the mission field through a variety of circumstances. Zavier desires to use his passion for engineering for Christ’s kingdom and TWR provides a unique opportunity to do just that!
While he finishes up his final semester at Harding, Zavier will work to build his financial ministry partnership team in order to serve for nine months at TWR’s West Africa Transmitter Station (WATS). Lord willing, Zavier will spend those nine months working with the WATS Broadcast Operations team in order to ensure that TWR’s broadcasts continue to be distributed without interruption.
Zavier will also work to learn French, get involved in a local church, and participate in other ministry activities outside of TWR. Zavier says: “My goal in serving with TWR is that I can use my engineering skills to assist the organization with the aim that people will hear the Good News and turn their lives from the sin that so easily entangles.”
