Hope for the Horn of Africa

The Horn of Africa includes the countries of Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, and Somalia, and some wider definitions also include Kenya, Sudan, South Sudan, and Uganda. Many Muslim unreached people groups live in this region, and ministry among them is extremely difficult.

Somalia, for example, ranks second highest out of 50 countries on the 2026 Open Doors World Watch List of countries with the most persecution of Christians. Sudan ranks fourth highest, and Eritrea ranks fifth. There is extreme poverty with no relief in sight amid drought and food shortages.

TWR broadcasts across the Horn of Africa in multiple languages from our powerful station in Eswatini, and our production teams produce the programs with joy under very difficult circumstances. The wide variety of broadcasts includes The Way of Righteousness, Women of Hope, Dr. Luke, and programs for youth.
