Administrative Assistant to the Chief Personnel Officer (CPO)
In this role, you will provide comprehensive administrative and organizational support to the Chief Personnel Officer (CPO) and assist the Human Resources team in day to day operations. This position ensures efficient workflow, professional communication, and the smooth execution of departmental activities. The role requires a high level of discretion, professionalism, spiritual maturity, and alignment with TWR’s mission and values.

Our Human Resources team is looking for an organized, servant-hearted teammate to help provide trustworthy support for our greatest resource: our people.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform administrative duties on behalf of the CPO, including drafting reports, preparing evaluations, and supporting special projects.
- Relieve the CPO of routine administrative tasks to ensure smooth departmental workflow.
- Serve as a supplementary point of contact for internal staff and external stakeholders.
Prepare, proofread, and edit written documents with a high degree of accuracy. - Manage the CPO’s calendar, schedule appointments, coordinate meetings, and prevent scheduling conflicts.
- Open and process daily mail, packages, interoffice correspondence, and other incoming communications.
- Respond to emails as requested.
- Make travel arrangements (flights, hotels, car rentals) and process reimbursements for ministry related travel and expenses.
Update or apply for passports, visas, and other international travel documentation for the CPO. - Take, transcribe, and distribute minutes for meetings; organize agendas, handouts, and supporting documents.
- Maintain orderly filing systems documenting correspondence, meeting notes, actions, and decisions.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding employee data and HR related matters.
Support to the Human Resources Team:
- Assist other HR team members as needed or requested.
- Help coordinate departmental events, including preparation of agendas, minutes, and documentation.
Experience Requirements:
- Administrative experience preferred.
- College degree or equivalent work experience.
Qualifications and Core Competencies:
- Must speak, read, write, and comprehend English fluently.
- Proficiency in current technology and software, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent telephone demeanor and client facing professionalism.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Spiritually mature and aligned with TWR’s mission, Christian Community and Standards policy, and doctrinal statement.
- Commitment to confidentiality, discretion, and integrity in handling sensitive information.
