Global Content Social Media Specialist

We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Content Specialist to join our team. This role is central to developing engaging content that resonates with our audience for the cause of Christ across social media platforms. You will collaborate with our media content creators to extend the impact of our life-changing content that is disseminated on multiple media platforms. Your primary focus will be crafting compelling narratives, producing original content, and amplifying our ministry initiatives to impact audiences for Christ.

Our Global Content team is seeking a creative and strategic thinker to help craft compelling content that strikes a chord with users and makes an impact for Christ across various social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Craft high-quality written, visual, and multimedia content for social platforms such as Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Adapt and optimize content for each social media channel's unique audience and technical requirements.
- Manage content distribution and scheduling using social media management tools.
- Stay up to date with the latest social media trends and best practices to keep our content fresh and relevant.
- Work closely with TWR graphic designers, videographers, and writers to produce visually appealing and engaging content.
- Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user engagement.
- Engage with our online community where necessary, responding to comments and messages promptly.
- Collaborate the TWR audience engagement team to determine the scope of responsibility regarding engagement with people who make comments or ask questions.
- Collaborate with the TWR social media team to develop a content calendar that aligns with other TWR marketing campaigns.
- Analyze content performance metrics and use insights to inform future content strategies.
- Participate in creative brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas and concepts for social media campaigns.
- Assist with the moderation of user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community.
Qualifications:
- Creativity.
- Proven experience creating compelling content for social media, with a portfolio showcasing your work.
- Excellent copywriting and editing skills.
- Proficiency in using social media platforms and management tools (e.g., Hootsuite).
- Understanding of graphic design principles and experience working with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable content strategies.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- A passion for storytelling and a creative mindset.
