Role Summary

Come engage with leaders of US radio stations, invest in friendships and seek partnerships with them on fundraising projects for TWR.

You will travel to multiple stations as well as to the Christian Music Broadcasters Momentum Conference in Orlando from May 26-29. You may be a great fit for this internship if you are passionate about Christ, love conversing with others about your and their spiritual lives and are skilled at using storytelling to motivate others. Radio experience is a plus but not required.

Marketing & Station Relations Intern: USA

Our Radio Station Partnerships team is looking for a summer intern to engage with US Christian radio leaders, develop friendships and participating in TWR’s Radios for Africa on-air fundraisers.

Responsibilities:

  • Attend Christian Music Broadcasters Momentum Conference May 26-29
  • Develop a marketing plan to communicate TWR short features to stations
  • Go in person to a radio station to do an on-air fundraiser

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Highly relational with strong people skills
  • Skillful listener and able to ask leading questions to get others talking
  • Enjoys starting a conversation with new people
  • An optimistic attitude and able to see the long view beyond just today
  • Bright and cheerful behind the mic
  • Good writing skills
  • Coachable

Helpful qualifications, but not required:

  • Experience with digital audio software like Adobe Audition, on-air with radio or podcasting
