Graphic Designer with TWR MOTION

TWR MOTION, a ministry of TWR, tells God’s story through animated videos. We believe people of all cultures deserve to hear about Jesus in a way they understand. That’s why we create videos that are culturally appropriate, gospel-centered and useful to church planters using digital disciple-making strategies.

Note: this position is a supported missionary role, not a direct hire opportunity.

Supported missionaries develop a team of partners who provide financially for their full salary and benefits as a part of this role. TWR provides training, resources, and coaching to help missionaries reach these financial support goals!

Why we need you:

Our animated videos are instrumental in sharing God’s story with the world. To produce those videos, we share the vision with donors and invite them into the work. An important part of raising awareness is visual branding.

As a graphic designer, you will represent our brand’s style visually to raise awareness about what God is doing through TWR MOTION. In this role, you’ll communicate ideas visually, capturing MOTION’s brand through clear, consistent design. You will report to the marketing manager and work closely with the marketing and fundraising team.

Responsibilities:

• Represent TWR MOTION in a positive light, attracting, engaging, and delighting through design.
• Capturing TWR MOTION’s visual branding by following the TWR MOTION Brand and Identity Style Guide.
• Building and maintaining TWR MOTION’s visual identity through print materials, the website, the newsletter, videos and other visual aspects of our brand.
• Website design using Webflow.
• Track analytics related to MOTION’s marketing and communications.

Requirements:

• A commitment to Jesus Christ, demonstrated through a personal relationship.
• Enthusiasm for full-time missionary work, including building a support network of prayer and financial partners.
• Ability to design in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Flexible and willing to pivot.
• Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented, organized and accurate.
• Able to creatively respond to unplanned situations.
• Team player with the capacity to work independently.
• The ability to learn quickly and have a high level of motivation.
• Humility, adaptability, and cultural awareness. (We work a lot with people in other cultures!)
• The capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree or certification in graphic design, or related field or equivalent professional experience.

Bonus skills (not required):

• Experience with Webflow.
• Cross-cultural experience.
• Experience with video editing.
• Foreign language fluency and literacy.
• Availability to work from our office in Cary, North Carolina.
