Role Summary

As HR Administrator, you will focus on streamlining HR operations, ensuring seamless onboarding, effective communication, and careful database management. You'll play a pivotal role in supporting our team, maintaining personnel files, and facilitating the smooth flow of information. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will contribute to the overall success of our HR initiatives. By providing essential administrative support, you enable our organization to focus on its core mission while fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.

Please note: This position is a supported/sponsored missionary role (not a direct hire opportunity), so the approved candidate would need to develop a team of partners to provide financially for their full salary and benefits. HR Administrator: Pfäffikon, Switzerland or Barneveld, The Netherlands (Europe)

Our Europe Human Resources team is seeking a new member to use their gifts for organization and attention to detail to ensure the personal care of our missionaries and help share the gospel across the continent.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the HR team in a variety of administrative tasks
  • Facilitating the onboarding and exit process in close cooperation with the local Office Managers (OM), supervisors and IT. As well as maintain/updating the checklists
  • Writing HR memos and announcements for staff changes
  • Keeping the HR database in Salesforce up to date
  • Personnel Files: Maintaining personnel files and updating the electronic database in Outlook
  • Managing the Service Award Program
  • Uploading and maintain open positions from Europe and featured global ones from the TWR website on various European Christian websites
  • Keeping track of expiration dates of employment contracts
  • Updating and sharing birthday list for Senior Leaders
  • Updating retirement list on a yearly basis
  • Collaborating in updating HR-related documents/policies/manuals
  • Collaborating in developing and implementing various HR projects
  • Assist in the application processes as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education and experience in office management and administrative work
  • Past work experience must indicate excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills in written and verbal English and, preferably, in another European language (German, Dutch, etc.)
  • Proficient with MS Office, preferably some experience with Salesforce and Site Stacker software

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Interest and experience in the field of Human Resources Management
  • Experience in project management or willingness to acquire skills in this area
