TWR’s national partner in Indonesia has a long-running and multi-faceted outreach in this archipelago country in Southeast Asia that is home to more Muslims than any other country in the world.
While the current ministries are continuing, it is also developing more programs specifically for the Indonesian Muslim. One of them is called Bridge to the Heart, which is being produced in the Indonesian language and aired on three FM stations. With plans for four more FM stations and a Javanese translation, Bridge to the Heart is for the estimated 90 million Muslims in Indonesia who adhere to Nusantara Islam, a moderate form of Islam that includes elements of Indonesian culture and other religions.
