TWR Women of Hope Mongolia

Mongolia is a large, landlocked country bordered by Russia to the north and China to the south. While its capital, Ulaanbaatar, and other major cities are densely populated (almost 69% of Mongolians now live in urban areas), the remaining 31% are sparsely distributed throughout this vast country known for its grasslands and nomadic herding culture.
According to Joshua Project, 99% of Mongolians are unreached by the gospel. More than 70% of Mongolians practice Tibetan Buddhism or ethnic religions, and around 24% consider themselves non-religious. Christians make up less than 2% of the population.
TWR seeks to reach Mongolians by broadcasting Bible-based gospel programming. Through partnerships with like-minded Christian organizations, TWR is broadcasting these programs in Mongolia over FM radio to reach urban-dwellers in built-up cities, as well as over shortwave to reach people living in the country's vast open grasslands.
TWR's program Women of Hope is an important ministry to bring to the women of Mongolia. Life as a woman in rural Mongolia is not easy due to common challenges such as domestic violence, sexual harassment, and having an alcoholic partner. They are traditionally expected by their husbands to take on all household and familial duties. God has a beautiful story for each woman as a unique expression of his grace and love.
No matter how daunting the challenges appear for women around the world, God has not forgotten any of them and has a good plan for each. Women of Hope will remind Mongolian women of their intrinsic value and inspire them to fulfill their God-given purpose by sharing the Word of God. The program will also bring a biblical worldview to marriage, parenting, postpartum depression and many other topics of interest to women.
A gift to this important project will bring hope and transformation to many.
