Double Take Episodes on Full Access Ireland

Known to listeners simply as Crystal and Gaia, the Double Take hosts bring their unique backgrounds into the episodes to create a safe space without judgment.
Every generation comes with its own challenges. There is no difference for Generation Alpha, the cohort of kids who were born between 2010-2024. Girls in this generation deal with the same struggles that millennial teenagers dealt with but in a different way. They were born into a world with the internet and don’t remember a time without social media and influencers. It shapes their views and most of the influences and examples are secular in the areas of health, relationships and lifestyle. And if there is anything spiritual in the content they digest, it’s usually from horoscopes.
The Double Take podcast (a project of TWR Women of Hope) takes all these elements and brings light to guide these young teenage girls on the right path. Each episode highlights that joy is determined not by trends, clothes, makeup or a girl's relationship status; instead, it comes only through Jesus Christ. Hosts Crystal Hays and Gaia Kumar, known to their listeners simply as Crystal and Gaia, bring their unique backgrounds into the episodes and create a space where there is no judgment, no perfect answers, but honesty and real talk. Their hope is that they can function as big sisters for these younger girls.
The Double Take production team has been using YouTube, Instagram and TikTok to distribute their content, and since March 2026, episodes can also be found on Full Access Ireland with episodes released on Monday at 8 p.m. Ireland time every other week.
Full Access Ireland is the first next-generation Christian radio station and part of the UCB Ireland family. The platform is run by young people for young people, and their goal is to see every youth and young adult have an opportunity to respond to the good news of Jesus in a way that relates to that individual.
This partnership between Double Take and UCB Ireland is a huge blessing, and Miia da Silva (Double Take’s project leader) is excited for this incredible opportunity to reach as many secular girls in Ireland as possible. She says: “This partnership confirms the need for this kind of content for this audience and that there is value in the episodes we create.”
You can listen to the episodes every other Monday in the UCB Ireland app.
