TWR Africa’s Year-end Challenge

“Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne,
and to the Lamb!” (Revelation 7:10)

This has been a challenging year for ministry at TWR.

But we give thanks to God, and give Him glory, for the work He made possible — during this time of uncertainty, war and ongoing isolation and confusion for so many worldwide.

Everything we have accomplished this year has come from the Lord’s provision through your prayers and generosity. This is why I’m prayerfully writing to you now.

The last several weeks of the year are always a critical time for us. This is a time when we need to raise nearly 40% of our general fund to fuel our efforts to reach every nation, tribe, people and language, with the hope, joy, love and peace of the gospel message.

This is especially important now as we enter this Advent season, when we remember Christ’s birth and look ahead to His glorious return.

I'm asking for your help today to raise the R200 000 we need as quickly as possible to meet our final needs of 2022 and begin the new year strong. The world needs God’s message of hope — right now, more than ever!

And God has provided a way.

A group of faithful supporters has stepped up with a generous gift of R200 000, and they are challenging you to match their generosity. That means whatever you give today will double in impact!

If we meet the challenge, that R200 000 seed gift becomes R400 000. And the impact of your own gift effectively doubles. Your R50, R100 or R200 gift is now worth R100, R200 or R400 and TWR’s foundation for the new year has grown that much stronger!

As I think about all that we’ve accomplished together, I’m overwhelmed by God’s goodness. He has clearly poured out his blessings on this global ministry that you and I are privileged to be a part of. Here are some of the eternity-changing ministries your gifts supported just this past year:

• Mission 66 into China — life-changing lessons drawn from the entire Bible.
• The Way of Righteousness — helping Muslim listeners understand what the Bible teaches about Christ.
• Russia and Ukraine emergency response — enabling more broadcasts during this time of war.
• TWR360 — providing biblical content to the entire world through the internet.
• TWR MOTION — equipping evangelists in Thailand with biblically based videos to reach Buddhists with the gospel.
• TWR Women of Hope — empowering women with hope and dignity through the gospel.
• Solar Power for Africa — outfitting our Africa Broadcast Centre with solar power which provides more funding for ministry efforts.
• Ministry into PANI (Pakistan, Afghanistan and North India) — bringing God’s hope amid the political upheaval and persecution in this region.

These are tremendous successes, and we look forward with great excitement to what God has planned for the year ahead. That’s why your generosity today — which will double in impact — is so important.
