MANZINI, Eswatini, (June 30, 2023) – A government agency has recognized TWR Eswatini as a leader in complying with the nation’s tax laws.

In a June 30, 2023, ceremony, TWR (also known as Trans World Radio) received the award as the highest contributor for small companies in the information and communications sector.

It was the inaugural awards ceremony by the Eswatini Revenue Service (ERS), which has been looking for new ways to encourage businesses to become tax compliant.

Greg Clarke, the Eswatini station director, accepted the award on behalf of Ingrid Clarke and the finance team, who have worked tirelessly so that TWR Eswatini maintains compliance with ERS.

The TWR Eswatini team offered its gratitude to Simon Burdett, TWR finance director for Africa, who helped set up TWR Eswatini as a company in 2019; and Bob Thorp, U.S.-based finance reporting and support specialist, who worked with Ingrid Clarke to synchronize financial reports with the TWR International year-end report.

Eswatini’s finance minister, other members of local government and many industry leaders attended the ceremony.
