Our Hope is in God
INDIA – "My wife and I were both born in non-Christian families. After marriage, we decided to start our own business. After some years, we suffered heavy losses. With our limited resources and human efforts, we tried our best to recover whatever money we could but we were not successful. Losing hope, we decided to end our lives.
"It was a depressing time for all of us and our entire family was at stake. During this time of desperation, a friend we knew encouraged us to listen to some TWR radio programmes and to put our trust in Jesus Christ.
"Having no knowledge of Jesus, we decided to listen to it since we have nothing more to lose. Listening to the Thru the Bible programme in the Tamil language regularly brought us hope and peace. My desperation slowly vanished. Somehow the Word of God strengthened me every time I was feeling suicidal.
"The day, I surrendered my life to Jesus and gave up all other traditional beliefs. Slowly, my entire family started listening to the programme and experience joy and peace. Not only did we our spiritual health improve, but God in his mercy, blessed our business. It was a miracle that we managed to regain whatever we lost in the business.
"We are indeed both spiritually and physically blessed. Today, my son is in college and my daughter is working. This would not have happened if we have not listened to the Word of God in your programme. All glory and honor to Jesus for saving our lives and our souls!"
